This beach is in prime condition with sand, rocks and rock pools. Cliffs and rocky headlands dominate and provide a great variety of wildflowers. The area is classed as a Heritage Coast and walking is recommended, but keep an eye on the tide.

The beach has a large natural swimming pool in the rocks that is filled by the sea at high tide. Situated close to the town centre, it has a large car park and easy access for everyone.

The surrounding area is remote and beautiful with the coast path running in both directions from the beach, leading over National Trust land, providing excellent vantage points and giving magnificent views for miles around. Crackington Haven lies within the Heritage Coast area.
